Does My Photo Fit?
Most digital cameras take photos that are 4x6 or 4x5.3 in dimension, but we sell tons of different print sizes. That means when you order a print, you need to make sure the good stuff in your photo doesn't get cut off.
In your shopping cart, you'll see crop lines if your photo isn't a perfect fit. For example, this photo is 4x6 in dimension, but we chose an 8x10 print so it's cropping the subject's head slightly.
Doesn't Fit? Adjust the Crop!
Option 1: Adjust the crop by dragging the crop lines that appear over your preview photo on the left-hand side of the screen. Move and scale to get the crop just right.
Want to start over with the crop? Just click the Reset Crop button below your preview photo. In some cases, no shifting of crop lines will make your photo fit on some paper sizes and you will have to order a size or two up from your selected print size.
Group shots are notorious for not fitting on 8x10 print size.
To get the whole family in the photo, do one of the following
Option 2: Choose None in your cart for no cropping.
This will add two white borders to the print, but none of the photo is lost. You can trim the print when you get it, or cover the borders with a mat.
Option 3: Choose a different print size. In this case, an 8x12 or a larger print would be a perfect fit.
